What a full basement build includes
Mechanical coordination
We schedule and manage the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC rough-in around the framing.
Insulation and drywall
Insulated, hung, taped, and finished to a level that holds up under basement lighting.
Bathrooms and wet bars
Adding a bathroom or bar downstairs changes the plumbing plan. We scope it up front, not mid-project.
Layout and framing
Walls laid out square and plumb, so every surface after them lands right.
Flooring and trim
Finish flooring, baseboard, casing, and doors installed by the same crew that framed it.
Permits and inspections
We pull the permits and meet the inspectors so the finished space is on the record.
How the project runs
Walkthrough and measure — We come out, measure the space, and talk through what you want down there before anyone quotes a number.
Written estimate and layout — A line-item estimate with a floor plan, so you can see what's included and what isn't.
Permits and schedule — We pull permits and give you a build calendar with the inspection dates on it.
Build and final walkthrough — One crew from framing to trim. We walk the finished space with you and handle the punch list before we invoice.

It depends on square footage and what goes in it. A straightforward open layout costs far less per foot than one with a bathroom, a wet bar, and an egress window. We give you a line-item estimate after the walkthrough so you can see where the money goes and cut scope if you need to.

Most basements run several weeks from permit to final walkthrough, driven mostly by inspection scheduling and material lead times. You get a build calendar up front rather than a vague window.

In Utah, finishing a basement into living space requires a permit and inspections. We handle the application and meet the inspectors. Unpermitted finished square footage causes problems when you sell.

Yes. Bring a drawing, a Pinterest board, or a rough sketch on paper. We'll tell you what's buildable and what the structure and mechanicals will and won't allow.
